AAPS student chapter at UIC is a cost-free student association sponsored by the AAPS organization. Membership is open to all currently enrolled University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) students and postdocs. AAPS membership is not a requirement for joining the chapter but it is required for leadership positionss in the chapter board. In general, members are  are encouraged to obtain AAPS membership to access more benefits. Find details on eligibility and membership here. AAPS membership is provided by the parent AAPS organization. Check their website for more details on the benefits of AAPS membership and the registration process. The annual fee for full-time graduate/undergraduate student is currently $50. Please visit the AAPS website to stay updated on any changes in the membership fee.

Yes, all the chapter members are encouraged to participated in our board meeting which are held monthly to discuss important news and upcoming events. Please reach out to our chapter to get the current information regarding the board meeting times and the opportunity to join.
