The AAPS student chapter at UIC has a rich history that traces its roots back to 2003, marked by vibrant student engagement and involvement. Over the years, the chapter has been a driving force behind industry tours, enlightening seminars featuring prominent speakers from academia and industry, career panels, and enjoyable social events. Although the chapter faced a period of inactivity during the challenging COVID-19 pandemic, it was successfully reactivated in 2021, thanks to the unwavering support of both students and faculty within the College of Pharmacy, reaffirming its commitment to advancing pharmaceutical sciences.
